LAND FOR PEACE OR PEACE FOR PEACE

Exactly 20 years ago, Rosh HaShana eve, about 11:30 pm. I was downstairs at Beit Hadassah, near the museum, taking a look at emergency supplies with my friend Uri Karzen, when it started. Massive shooting. Unlike anything we’d heard before.

The conference was dedicated in memory of David Bar-Illan, a fine man who deserves more than a few words of tribute. Eretz Yisrael is Not For Sale

Eretz Yisrael is Not For Sale October 18, 2004 So, what’s the answer? Is the magic solution a national referendum? Can we legitimately decide the fate of Eretz Yisrael in a national election? Only a few days ago was the beginning of the New Year. […]

A Glorious Past, Present and Future September 6, 2004 Shalom. Last week I was invited to participate in a ‘debate’ to be held before a group of 16 Israel activists. Most of them, in their early twenties, were from Europe. Two-thirds of the group were Jews, and the others Christian, excepting one man, a Turkish Muslim. My opponent during the […]
