Hitleresque resolutions by David Wilder

Some 37 years ago, Taysir Abu Sneneh sat on the rooftop of a garage across from Beit Hadassah in Hebron. It was early evening and he, together with three other terrorists waited.

When the large group of men arrived, having just finished Shabbat prayers at the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, Ma’arat HaMachpela, the four began shooting and throwing hand grenades, leaving 6 dead and over 20 wounded.

Abu Sneneh was sentenced to life, but served seven years in prison, released during a ‘prisoner exchange.’ About a month ago he was elected Mayor of Hebron.

A short time after, in an interview to the AP, he justified the terror attack, saying that ‘this was a message to the settlers that Hebron is our city, and they must leave.’

The United Nations, via UNESCO, today gave its stamp of approval to Abu Sneneh’s justification.

Declaration of Ma’arat HaMachpela and the city of Hebron as a ‘palestinian heritage site in danger,’ is historical fiction.  Jewish roots in Hebron are ageless, from time immemorial, as I wrote,  a week ago.

But not only is the decision historic fiction. It is extremely dangerous. It is incitement to kill; it is license to kill. 

The decision, as far as the world is concerned, erases any and all legitimacy of a Jewish presence in Hebron, or at Ma’arat HaMachpela. And on the other side, it grants legitimacy to Arabs to implement any and all actions necessary to remove Jewish presence in Hebron and at Ma’arat HaMachpela.

In other words, it allows them a legitimate excuse to kill Jews.

This comes as no surprise. The UN has systematically ignored the mass murder of men, women and children in Syria, Iraq, Afganistan, Niger, and other places in the world. It seems that we have something in common with all these victims of massacre. None of us have red blood. Only people with red blood are worth defending. Our blood, like theirs, is of a different color.

But this decision has an additional side to it.

Back in the 1920s, following the approval of the British mandate in Israel, Haj Amin El Husseini was appointed Mufti of Jerusalem, the most important position in the Arab world. He had already been imprisoned for murdering Jews, but was released by the British and appointed Mufti.

El Hussaini incited the 1929 riots and massacres that left over 150 Jews dead, including 67 in Hebron. He later worked with Hitler and planned the systematic execution of Israel’s Jews following Rommel’s expected invasion and occupation. Thank G-d, that never happened.

El Hussaini’s sucessor, who also planned to exterminate Israel’s Jews was Yassir Arafat. He too failed, but succeeded in killing many many Jews.

It seems that Abu Sneneh is trying to carry on where they left off. Starting in the first Jewish city in Israel, Hebron.

The difference is that he has now received international support for his efforts. The United Nations has given him and his cronies cart blanche to do whatever necessary to bring about a Judenrein Hebron, a Judenrein Ma’arat HaMachpela, and also a Judenrein Western Wall, a Judenrein Jerusalem and in the end, a Judenrein Israel.

Any Jews murdered, as a result of these decisions will not be viewed as victims by the international community, rather as responsible for their own deaths, being that they refuse to accept ‘international law,’ and insist on ‘occupying’ someone elses land.

Except that they will have forgotten one small point, and that is that we will fight back. We are not the helpless Jews in Eastern Europe or the defenseless Jews of Hebron, 1929. We are a State, a People, living in our Land. No international decision or resolution can or will ever change that. We have national pride, for our eternal glory cannot be deleted or erased. And any attempts to remove us from our cities and from our land will be dealt with as necessary.

The UN, UNESCO and its other enemy branches should know: there will be no forgetting and no forgiveness for their anti-Semitic, Hitleresque resolutions. We were here before the UN and we will be here after the UN is gone and long forgotten.

Their incitement to kill, their license to kill, their encouragement to kill will fail, just as Germany’s attempt to annihilate us failed.

We will be victorious!
